My 8th grade year has

made me glad

Sad to see it comming to an

end

and sad to leave my friends that I may

It's been weird transfering from my school to a new school, also since i waz in 7th grade and now i'm in the 8th grade. Now since i waz here i've been meeting new people that i never met before. It's been strange because i never been in this kinda school. I'm beginning to meet more and more new peopleand some of them like the same things as i do.

The eighth grade year i shall cherish forever, the memories undefined because they were so great. Even the sad times no longer have a grasp on me, and now i'm ready to soar, ready to exeed, ready to smash every single low expectation set upon me. I can get past all the troubles and problems thrown at me all by myself, but it is good to know i still have all my class mates-friends there right by my left side.

8th Grade has been my favorite grade to be in so far. A lot of things have happened in this class, good and bad. I feel that I've matured a lot in the past year, and I've learned more, too. I became more independent in my life and how I handle things. I leave with me the power and responsibility of a person who can be more than just a friend, enemy, brother, cousin, father, husband, so on.

For me, it is possible to me more happy than sad to leave Ms. Harwood's class, because now I can achieve bigger and better things, become a better person, and know where I want to be in my life and what I want to do. This may be the end of this grade, but it is definitely not the end to my future...

It's true it's our last day of school I don't know how I feel.

I should be sad but I don't. I know why though it's because I had to abandon all my friends to come here. Now I don't care much about leaving.

What's the difference between disappearing and leaving forever.

But on the bright side we are having chocolate chip cookies today. Yum!

For the past 363 days that Ive been in 8Th grade Ive learned allot and met allot of interesting people. the most interesting people that i met in 8Th grade are probably Mr.Jim. he teaches my class, poetry, Jen: she is apart of tkf she teaches us about gang violence, Tanya: she runs a program called VeloYouth that my class has been lucky enough to participate in.
out of all the people that Ive met in my life the most valued one in my heart is Ms.Harwood. she has helped me when i was feeling sad, mad, or just not in the mood and i can actually say that she been one of the most positive influences in my life. thank you so much for being there for me. Another person i would like to mention who also helped me in my 8Th grade troubles is Mr.B my T.A. he is also been there to help me with some of my hard times.
P.S. i will miss everyone that i have had the opportunity to met.

Leaaaving middle schoooL ; heeeeLLO high school BY ` hajinne

- This year was fun even though I spent half of MY year at Monarch . I will really miss Ms. Harwood & Mr. Barron . They were the coooolest teachers ever ! I hope that MY high school is the best year ever besides 8th grade. I am looking forward to making NEW friends & meeting NEW teachers . I also hope that I make the cheerleading team . I think it's going to be pretty cool going to high school even though its going to be harder middle school . I learned alot in middle school like alberga & things like that but also i 'm leaving my immature side of me behind and becoming a young lady. I truly think I changed alot . I learned how to ingore people espically BOYS when they get annoying . I'm sad that I am leaving 8th grade for know , but happy to meet NEw people & do NEW things .
