Rap Tells About Life, by Jacob

Rap music is my favorite music because most rappers tell about life and how it is. When they rap they also tell their life story and what they have been through.

Rappers like Mitchy Slick and South Park Mexican tell people about their struggles with drugs, gangs, jail and girls.

They have been to jail and have had many hard times in their lives. Rappers have a lot to say, and want to say it in a unique way, that's why they rap. They also rap about others' lives and their struggles.

Rappers can also write songs about love--like street poetry--and it doesn't always have to be violent.

Rap music, to me, is a way of telling stories about life.

  1. Thanks for sharing your perspective, Jacob. I generally don't listen to rap music, but I never thought of it as "telling stories about life". I hope that these musicians will create positive and constructive lives for themselves and others and sing about that, too.
