Raiders Crush Chargers, by Sergio and Nathan

The Raiders crushed the Chargers on Dec. 5th. Phil Rivers kept over-throwing the ball .That is just one of the Chargers' problem.The Chargers rank as one of the most disappointing teams in the first half of the NFL season ,winning just twice in six games. Is it a lack of talent?coaching?smart play?

Union Tribune columnists Tim Sullivan and Nick Canepa debate this. The game on Dec.5th 2010 when the RAIDERS CRUSHED THE CHARGERS was the second time the Raiders defeated the Charger.The quarterback Rivers had a terrible game and got sacked five times.

Rivers may have been frustrated knowing that he overthrew the ball two times which helped the Raiders score a touchdown.

This was the two first times that the Raiders beat the Chargers in seven years. But the Raiders defense played well.The Chargers defense was not so good.

Eating healthy is important to our community.

If everyone eats just junk food everyday then thousands of dollars go to waste to produce fruits and vegetables. Nowadays there aren't that many food stores that contain the fruits and vegetables you need. More than half the stores are filled with junk food.

If people keep eating like this and putting healthy stuff to waste then someday stores will keep having a smaller percentage of healthy food. Even most resteraunts don't have healthy food.

The thing is, healthy is costly. I went to a local Jack In the Box and everything I saw was all junk. The healthy list is smaller than the french fry list. I saw a greasy hamburger for 1 dollar while a healthy salad was 6 dollars. Now that is outrageous!!! If there is not that many healthy food at stores and the ones in resteraunts are expensive, then where can I get healthy food.

I'll tell you where i can get healthy food is at a farm. But the thing is i'm in the middle of San Diego and there is not a farm for miles. So I can't tell ou about eating healthy because i know junk food is cheap and it's hard to resist so I won't tell you to eat healthy, i'm asking you, so that they will sell more healthy products at stores and lower costs at restaurants

If you were to go on vacation anywhere where would you go? I would go to the Bahamas.

I would go to the bahamas because it's really relaxing there. Just thinking about it makes me less stressed. There are beautiful beaches and i like the fish in them too.

There are many places to explore there. You can explore on foot or by swimming. There are alot of places to snorkel and see the 250 fish kinds of fish that live at the core of a crater. Speaking of crater there is volcanoes there that are fun to see.

Even if your the type of person that doesn't like to walk around the Bahamas will still fit you because they have alot of relaxing spas all over the islands.They have mud spas and massages there that are so relaxing that you'll be tired and relxed for days.

The Bahamas doesn't cost as much to go to anymore. There are coupons and discounts now to go to it so families can have fun without spending all of their money.

So if you choose anywhere to go on a vacation then i expect you to go to the Bahamas

Linkin Park is one of the most well known bands in the world.

Linkin Park consists of many members. But the t main guys are Chester and Mike. They are the ones that started the great band.

Through out the years Linkin Park have had really great songs. They were in hiatus for a year but now they're back and they have a new cd. There new cd is called a thousand suns and it's really good. It's currently out right now.

To promote their new cd they're going on a tour. Some concerts are already sold out in some areas. They are having a concert in San Diego called A Thousand Suns in Febuary.

You can get tickets to see them at TicketMaster and i hope you do because this will be a really good concert and it will be not right to miss it.

He left the institute in 1987 to become an animator.

The first episode was aired in nickelodeon on May 1st, 1999.The show reached enormous popularity in 2000 and has remained popular since. A feature film was released in theaters on November 19, 2004.

The series is currently in its seventh season and it celebrated its tenth anniversary on July 17 , 2009 and it has been renewed for an eigth season.The creator of SpongeBob liked drawing marine life and thought sponges were the oddest of all these creatures. Hillenburg thought spongebob would like the smell of pineapple home. Also something else that is gangsta is that spongebob was origanelly named spongeboy but somebody already held the name.Something funny and weird is that Tom Kenny who does the voice of Spongebob says his characters laugh was meant to make viewers think of the ocean.Also according to spongebob's drivers license he was born in july 14 1986.ok have fun and one more thing spongebob squarepants is mine

Compasses been around for a long time even be for you were born.
Compasses have magnetic element which points the direction of the horizontal.

Magnetic compasses are an old Chinese invention, invented during the Qin dynasty. The first compass was a simple piece of lodestone floating in water.

Compasses determine direction relative to the Earth's magnetic poles. A magnetized pointer in compasses aligns itself with Earth's magnetic field. The compass became useful when traveling in the ocean and on land.

Compasses are capable of directing towards the magnetic north of a planet's magnetosphere . Generally compasses point in all directions --north, south, east, and west-- but the biggest part of the arrow always points north.

The compasses was invented around 247 B.C.

The compass has been around for a very long time and is still very useful.

Coke is one of the first sodas made. It was greatly known in the 1900's where it was only a couple cents to buy. Coke was made by John Pemberton in 1886.

I like Coke so much because yes it has been around for years and its keeps coming up with new stuff for Coke. It's great because it's original. Nothing else tastes like it. It's really refreshing when you are running and you need something cold.

Guitars are family to the tanbur, the setar, and the sitar. Guitars are loved by musicians everywhere and is the most common instrument in the world. Guitars were made in Europe in the 12 century. It was called guitar from the old persian word tar meaning string.

There are many other kinds of guitars in the world. Acoustic, electric, and many other kinds. there are mostly 6 string guitars but they have 12 string guitas and double neck guitars.

Some people are naturally great at playing guitar but some have to go to guitar lessons which are usually 100 dollars a month. And after a couple months you can be great at guitar and have alot of fun.

I think that blue nose pit bulls are great dogs.

First, they are very playful dogs because they like to run around and like to bite your pants.They are easy to train and this is the way they are trained: you have to get a sock and move the sock around and that's how they build their muscles.

Philip was born December 8, 1981, his birth place was in Decatur, Alabama. Philip started with the chargers in 2004 and he is still with them. In 2004 Philip was drafted to the chargers, The chargers got him in the 1st round, the 4th pick. Philip is 6ft 5in and weights 228lb.

I like abstract art. I don't really know why, but it looks cool and creative. I think that some kind of art you can tell how the artist felt when they did it.

Artist aren't the only ones that can do abstract art! Any one can do abstract art because if you're felling sad, lonly, mad, are how ever you feel , all you have to do is have a piece of paper and probably a paint brush. I also like abstract art because the artist's want to make you think what's in the picture.

I think a good artist is Wassily Kandinsky. I think he painted most of his art in Germany. Unfortunately he died in December 13, 1944, he died at the age of 74. He was also born in moscow.

There are many different abstract artists in the world, but for me, I like Wassily Kandinsky, he's a good artist!

The eighth grade year i shall cherish forever, the memories undefined because they were so great. Even the sad times no longer have a grasp on me, and now i'm ready to soar, ready to exeed, ready to smash every single low expectation set upon me. 8th Grade has been my favorite grade to be in so far. A lot of things have happened in this class, good and bad. I feel that I've matured a lot in the past year, and I've learned more, too. I became more independent in my life and how I handle things. I leave with me the power and responsibility of a person who can be more than just a friend, enemy, brother, cousin, father, husband, so on.

For me, it is possible to me more happy than sad to leave Ms. Harwood's class, because now I can achieve bigger and better things, become a better person, and know where I want to be in my life and what I want to do. This may be the end of this grade, but it is definitely not the end to my future...
